So sorry for your loss. My first encounter with Ms. Alva was when i started at Stanly County Habitat for Humanity over 21 years ago. She and Bob were the faithful volunteers that always walked the rafters and put on the roofing for the Habitat homes. What an inspiration they were in the beginning and until the end with their servant hearts and loving spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
