Allen Glenn Polk's Obituary
Mr. Allen Polk, age 54, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at McWhorter Hospice House of Union County.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Allen Polk will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2015, at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Frank Crump.
Mr. Polk was born on September 21, 1960, in Union County, North Carolina, a son of the late Henry Neal Polk and Lula Belle Hargette Polk.
Allen was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Floyd Polk and David Polk.
He was a commercial and residential painter.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Allen Polk and wife Stacey Polk of Pageland, South Carolina; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Polk of Wingate.
There are two grandchildren, Miranda and Marissa.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 6:45 PM Friday Night, January 9, 2015, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
