Alleain Hinson Morton's Obituary
Alleain Hinson Morton, 89, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday,
January 22, 2019 in Bethany Woods Nursing Center. Her funeral will be Friday, January 25, 2019
at 2:00 PM in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Howard
officiating. Burial will follow in
Fairview Memorial Park. The family will
receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:0 0 PM.
Born August 13, 1929 in Stanly County she was the daughter
of the late Sam Brown Hinson and Mattie Camilla Hudson Hinson. She was a former employee of Wiscassett Mills
Co and E. J. Snyder Co. She was a member
of Fellowship Baptist Church. For many years Mrs. Morton and her husband
portrayed Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus at the YMCA in Albemarle and all over
Stanly County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bronson
Morton on September 6, 2012. Survivors
include two daughters, Laceta Morton Smith and Vanessa Scott Lambert both of
Albemarle, sister Jearlean Eggleston of Greensboro, 3 grandchildren, 5
great-grandchildren and 4 great-greatgrandchildren. One brother Reece Hinson preceded her in
death.
