Alicia Denise Hill's Obituary
Mrs. Alicia Denise Van Ness Hill, age 58, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at her residence.
Graveside Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Alicia Hill will be conducted at 10:30 AM Friday, May 23, 2014, at Waxhaw City Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Timothy Walker.
Mrs. Hill was born on August 20, 1955, in Washington, DC, a daughter of Winifred B. Van Ness of Adelphi, MD and the late Leon Van Ness.
She was a merchandising assistant with Family Dollar.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Danton Hill of Waxhaw; two sons, James (Jimmy) Danton Hill of Waxhaw, and Thomas Marino Hill of Waxhaw; one daughter, Lisa Marie Rape and husband Billy of Waxhaw; a brother, James Thomas Van Ness of Bowie, MD. There are four step grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.
