I still cry daily over you, Al (Scooter)! I was blamed for your death, but the doctors at the VA in Salisbury asked to take you out of nursing homes because they weren't taking proper care of you. When you came back home, you'd gotten better says the VA doctor, but when Matthews Presbyterian put you back in a nursing home you again started to deteriorate once again. D.S.S. took over and won since you were too ill to fly back to New York. Funny how your daughter, Debbie told the judge that she herself didn't want to take care of you, but wanted your money. I know... after your death I saw letters from Bank of America and Social Security. She got neither (which she deserved). God gave you a chance to enjoy life with me for 10 years, Albert. My only regret was not marrying you. Wait for me in heaven, sweetheart. Wait for ME !!! Love, Z.
