Albert Radcliffe Moses' Obituary
Mr. Albert "Al" Radcliffe Moses, age 87, of Monroe, NC, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Moses with full Military Honors will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the H. Vann Davis III Memorial Chapel, 1003 East Franklin St., Monroe, NC, 28112.
Al was born February 2, 1934, in Fairfield County, Connecticut, the son of the late Harvey Moses and Lila Thomas Moses. Al was a Staff Sargent during his service to our county in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War era. After his time in the military, Al had a career in law enforcement as a police officer, and later as a construction superintendent for public school. He was also talented athletically, and was a triathlete for 10 years. He enjoyed breakfast with his friends, working out at the gym, and spending time with the ones he loved. Al will be deeply missed and not forgotten.
Al is survived by his sons, Robert Moses of Monroe, NC and Mike Moses (Rhonda) of Highland, CA.
In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Moses.
