I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain and grief you all are experiencing. Alan was an amazing person! I had the honor to work with him at NASA Glenn Research Center. We actually sat by each other during our weekly Center staff meetings. We had many wonderful conversations. A few about work, but most were about his family! He was always bragging and talking about "his boys." and what they meant to him and also some of the challenges of raising three boys. It was very apparent that it was always about the family! Alan was a dedicated professional, and caring person. He will be missed. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Leslie, Gil, Paul, and Sam. I want to send my deepest sympathy and love to each of you during this most difficult of times. Mr. Alan, as our daughters Abigail and Candice fondly call him, will forever be more than a friend to our family of four. Alan will be our guardian and protector while Michael was deployed overseas. We love and adore our memories with Alan and his family five. Rest In Peace Mr. Alan 🤟🏼
Prayers and condolences for the loss of our precious Alan. He will be missed dearly. I hope that the Phillips family finds peace and comfort in the memories of his sense of humor, his wit, his charm, his funny sarcasm, and his stunning intellect. I miss the days of talking about photography and trucks and home improvement projects with Alan. I will always hold a spot in my heart for Alan, my boss for 12 years, as I am a better person for having known Alan for so long, and that is the sign of a good man and a life well-lived. Godspeed, my friend.
We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all!
Leslie and family, so sorry for your loss.
Alan's impact on the NASA Family cannot be measured. The work he did enabled missions to succeed and prevented people from being injured. But his biggest impact was what he taught the people he led - work hard on your projects and be a leader with integrity. Leslie and his Family will be in my prayer, and I know I will find comfort knowing that NASA's future successes were enabled by his leadership of the NSC.
So very sorry for the loss of your Brother! My deepest sympathy for you and your family.
My deepest condolences to the Phillips family. Director Phillips was always very kind to me, and I will forever thank him not only for giving a young man the chance to be a part one of the most noblest organizations to date, but for also making a childhood dream come true. I know that is he is now looking over us and will continue to inspire us to live up to his example.
Thank you for everything sir. We will all miss you.
My deepest sympathy to the family. Alan was such a warm and calm spirit and a pleasure to learn from.
