Betty H. Burris, 85, of Albemarle passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 in her home. Her funeral will be a private graveside service at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to pay their respects at Stanly Funeral and C Read Obituary
Betty will always be respected for her commitment to Canton Baptist Church as she was always up for the task, regardless the challenge. Challenges that was always met with a smile for everyone and certainly a smile that will truly be missed. Our prayers go out to the family and may she now rest in peace!! A great lady!!

Mrs. Burris was one of my favorite teachers at Endy. I even visited her a time or 2 after I got out of school. She will be missed. Prayers for the family. God Bless.

Betty played the piano for my first wedding in 1965 at Oakboro Church of God. She also taught my children Timothy Barbee and Ben Horton. She is a grand lady. I pray you will be comforted by memories from the sweet Holy Spirit. Love to Maci and Landon
