Sylvia Trexler Burris, 74, of Concord passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 in CHS-Northeast, Concord.? Her funeral will be 3 PM Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Don Burleyson officiating.? Burial will follow in the church cemetery.? The family will receive friends from 2 until 2:45 prior to the hour of the service. Born January 8, 1944 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Everette Ray Trexler and Vera Violet Burleyson Trexler and was a homemaker.? She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.? In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Craven Wayne Burris. Survivors include daughter Dawn Burris Jordan and husband Dalton of Kannapolis and granddaughter Marcy Burris. Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is entrusted with arrangments.
