Spencer Logan Cantie II, age 22 months, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at his home. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Born March 10, 2020 in Cabarrus County, NC, he was the son of Spencer Logan Cantie and Sydney Elizabeth Campbell both of Concord. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his future sibling, his maternal grandparents Michelle Herring Campbell (Jason Putnam) of Concord and Greg Campbell (Kristy) of Harrisburg and paternal grandparents Amy Cantie (Wayne Cole) of Concord and Frank Cantie (Tammy) of Asheville, maternal great-grandparents Marshel Herring and Dana Herring and Yvette Dixon and paternal great-grandmother Rosemond Ruhland, aunts Macie Campbell Lescak (Dillion), Taylor Skorski (Tim), Kynleigh Campbell, Payton Pritchard, Danna Talbert and uncles Parker Campbell, Jordan Israel (Maximilian), Wayne Cole Jr., Ben Martin, Dillon Lowder, and cousins Aurora Lescak, Salem Lescak, Halle Talbert, Cruz Cole, and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandfather Charles Kirby Dixon, Richard Ruhland, Sharon and Gary Kohler, Rosalie and Frank Cantie Sr., and Uncle Grayson Cole Campbell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to any animal shelter or to Atrium Health Cabarrus NICU.
