Jerry Lee Connor, Sr., 73, of Locust, passed away Tuesday August 21, 2018 at his home. A committal service will take place at 10 AM Tuesday, August 28, in Salisbury National Cemetery. Born July 30, 1945 in Abbeville, LA, Jerry was the son of Lucille Cornner and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Connor of the home. Other survivors include sons Jerry Lee Connor, Jr. (Heather) of Harrisburg, NC and Michael Ray Connor (Veronica) of Lake Park, GA, daughters Julie Roos (Phil) of Berkley, MA and Anitra Connor of Baton Rouge, LA, sister, Flo Romero of Henry, LA, and grandchildren, Wesley and Nathan Connor, Nick and Noah Henson, Brayden and Dylan Wells, and Talia and Devon Roos. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at?www.dav.org Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care of Locust is serving the Connor family.
