Beverly Sue James Baucom

Beverly Sue James Baucom, 77, of Monroe passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in her home. Her funeral will be at 2 PM on Saturday, December 18, 2021 in the Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust Chapel with Rev. Keith Walters officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:30 prior to the hour of the service. Born October 29, 1944 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. P. J. James and Alice Faye Smith James. She was a homemaker and attended Emanuel Baptist Church when her health permitted. She is survived by her husband Larry Baucom of the home, two sons Kenneth Hathcock (Kelly) of Albemarle and Jeff Hathcock (Tammy) of Monroe, daughter Robin Thomas of Monroe, brother Kenneth James of Lake Lure and a sister Marsha Page of Mint Hill, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
