Betty G. Trogdon, 85, of Albemarle, NC passed away Monday February 26, 2018 in her daughter?s home. Her service will be Thursday, March 1 at 1 PM in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel with Tom Bohart officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM prior to the hour of the service. Betty was born November 10, 1932 in Montgomery County, NC and was the daughter of the late Cicero Dennis and Minna Louise McLendon Dennis. She was a retired employee of Federal Pacific. Mrs. Trogdon was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witness. Mrs. Trogdon is survived by her husband James Delmar Trogdon of Randolph County, NC. Other survivors include a son Floyd Douglas Efird, a daughter Darlene Efird McGee and seven grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by three children Dennis Edmund Kersey, David Linton Kersey and Joyce Renee Kersey Gosch and three siblings Jack Dennis, Leon Dennis and Mary Dennis Eudy.
