Herman Peery Wyrick, Jr., 82, of 330 Park Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 16th, 2009 at the Lutheran Home in Albemarle.  His funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 18th at Stanly Funeral Home Chapel where Rev. David Alexander will officiate.  There will be no formal visitation and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. 

Born on January 9, 1927 in Alamance County, NC, Mr. Wyrick was the son of Rev. Herman P. and Jane Hennis Wyrick.  He was a graduate of Porter Military Academy in 1945 and Lenior-Rhyne College in 1949.  He was an Accountant for Portable Tools in Charlotte, NC.

He was married to the late Anne Smith Wyrick; father to Elizabeth W. Harris of Norwood, NC; and grandfather to David Harris and James Harris of Norwood, NC.
