Mr. William Jeffrey Elrod, age 48, of 3855 Mechanic Road, Asheboro, NC, passed away on Monday, November 14th, 2011 in NC Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  His Memorial Service will be at 2 PM on Friday, November 18th, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Oakboro, NC and there will be no formal visitation.

Born May 15th,1963 in Dade County, FL, Mr. Elrod was the son of Carl Calloway Elrod and Thelma Long Elrod.  He was a construction worker who enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.

Along with his parents, Mr. Elrod is survived by his wife, Tamara Lynn Biddle Elrod; two sons, James Allen Huneycutt of Albemarle, NC and Anthony Lewis Huneycutt of Albemarle, NC; one daughter, Denise Elrod Thompson of Seagrove, NC; one brother, David Bruce Elrod of Oregon; one sister, Sharon Elrod of Troy, NC; and five great-grandchildren.
