Mr. Walter Troutman, age 75, of 33426 Old Salisbury Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at Bethany Woods Nursing Center.  His graveside service will be on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011 at Stanly Gardens of Memory and his family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Stanly Funeral Home just prior to the hour of service.  Rev. Mark Medlin will officiate.

Born January 22nd, 1936 in Rowan County, NC, Mr. Troutman was the son of the late Rufus Lee Troutman and Jennie Thompson Troutman and was retired from Wiscasset Mills Co. #6.  He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he served as an ordained deacon and Sunday School teacher. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Phillips Troutman, and son, Ricky Troutman and wife Deborah from Badin, NC.
