Victor Louis Talbert, 64, of 33426 Old Salisbury Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, August 14th, 2009 at StanlyRegionalMedicalCenter in Albemarle, NC. His family will receive friends at the Stanly funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM. His funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 18th, 2009 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Todd Galloway and Rev. Ron Honeycutt will officiate and burial will be in FairviewMemorial Park with full military graveside rites conducted by the Stanly County DAV Ritual Team.
Born February 23rd, 1945 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late William Roy and Flora Thompson Talbert and was a former employee of Republic Foil of Salisbury, NC. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by one brother, William Kenneth Talbert of Albemarle and one sister, Johnsie Mae Cook of Albemarle, NC.
