Mrs. Sandra Mae Cook Griffin, age 58, of 717 Redah Avenue, Locust, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 in New Hampshire.  Her funeral will be on Saturday, November 19th, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel and her family will receive friends from 1 PM to 2 PM just prior to the hour of service at the Funeral Home.  Rev. Frank Padgett will officiate. 

Born September 28th, 1953 in Watertown, Connecticut, Mrs. Griffin was the daughter of the late Joseph and Shirley Hale Cook.  She was a project planner for Wells Fargo with 28 years of service and of the Methodist Faith. 

She is survived by her husband, Lane T. Griffin; two daughters, Erin D. Carpenter of Charlotte and Katrina M. Decarufel of Columbus, OH; one step-son, Tucker G. Griffin of Clover, SC; and one step-daughter, Ryan E. Griffin of Clover, SC.
