Ruth Ann Hastings Moose, age 70, of 333 Anderson Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, October 18th, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast in Concord, NC. Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5 PM until 7 PM and her funeral will be on Friday, October 22nd, 2010 at 3 PM in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Rev. Mark Weekely will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Born May 29th, 1940 in Cabarrus County, NC, Mrs. Moose was the daughter of the late Ralph and Lillian Cochran Hastings and attended Pine Forrest High School. She was a certified nursing assistant at Forrest Oaks. She also was a member of Central United Methodist Church and a member of the Mother Bivens Circle at Central United.

She is survived by her husband, Edward M Moose; one son, Edward Moose of Albemarle, NC; two daughters, Betty Ann Lowder of Albemarle and Cynthia Ruth Moose of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
