Ruby Marie Hinson Rummage, 99, of 625 Bethany Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle, NC. Her Graveside Funeral will be at 3 PM on Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 in Fairview Memorial Park. Dr. Gary Pinion will officiate. Her family will receive friends at 2 PM at the Stanly Funeral Home, prior to the hour of service.
Born March 2nd, 1910 in Rowan County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Samuel and Carrie Crowell Hinson and retired from Wiscassett Mills Company. She was a member of North Albemarle Baptist Church. She was married to the late Cletus Rummage who preceeded her in death. She was also preceeded in death by two sons, A. Gerald Rummage and Ted L. Rummage, six brothers, and one sister. She is survived by six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
