Ronald Curtis Axsom, 70, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC. His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and his funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Rev. Ron Honeycutt and Rev. Mark Forrest will officiate and burial will be in Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born March 22, 1939 in Guilford County, NC, he was the son of the late Aubrey Andrew and Oshie Bee Laton Axsom. He was a 1957 graduate of Badin High School and a retired employee of Custom Doors, Inc. He is survived by his brother, Aubrey Andrew Axsom, Jr. and wife Becky of Foundup, MT and his sister, Patricia Ann Axsom Warren of Albemarle, NC.
