Rocky Lane Huneycutt, age 49, of 24392 St. Martin Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  His Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 20th, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  His family will receive friends immediately following the service.  Rev. Tab Whitley will officiate. 

Born November 19th, 1961 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Huneycutt was the son of Clad Joseph Huneycutt and Betty Smith Huneycutt of Albemarle, NC and a graduate of West Stanly High School.  He was a Correction Officer at Albemarle Correctional Institute, a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, and recently rededicated his life at Charity Baptist Church.  He was a UNC Tarheels fan and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, and spending time with his fiance Kathy and his companion Harley, his yellow lab.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his son, Cody Dustin Tucker of Stanfield; sister, Lisa Love and husband Todd of Oakboro, NC; and fiance, Kathy Teeter of Albemarle, NC.
