Mrs. Rayvonne Almond Deese, age 92, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Sunday, December 19th, 2010 in Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  Her funeral will be at 3 PM on Tuesday, December 21st, 2010 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel and her family will receive friends from 1:45 PM until 2:45 PM just prior to the hour of service at the Funeral Home.  Rev. Todd McSwain will officiate and burial will be in Friendship United Methodist Church's Cemetery. 

Born August 5th, 1918 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Deese was the daughter of the late John and America House Almond and was a Homemaker.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Mrs. Deese was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle Deese.  She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
