Mr. Elbrus Randolph "Randy" Jacobs, age 68, of Badin, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 17th, 2010 at his home.  His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday at Badin United Methodist Church from 1 PM until 2 PM just prior to the hour of the funeral.  Rev. Laura Hamrick and Rev. Bob Romanello will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Born September 28th, 1942 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Jacobs was the son of the late William Elbrus "Jake" Jacobs and Trudy May Oliver Jacobs.  He was a member of Badin United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Kaye Bush Jacobs; two sons, Randall Jacobs and wife Misty of Gastonia and Ronald Jacobs of Gastonia, NC; three daughters: Robin Jacobs Smith and husband Fox of Asheville, NC, Katrina Tvedt and husband Russell of Tega Cay, SC, and Michelle Tatters of Scotland, UK; and eight grandchildren: Kasey, Jonathan, Kylie, Foxy, Jesse, Richard, Reagan, and Reese.  One grandson, Baby Randall, preceded him in death.
