Ralph Franklin Moore, 70, of 21885 Canton Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 at his son's home. His family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and his funeral will be at 2 PM on Sunday, October 4th, 2009 at Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Rev. Paul Pickler will officiate and burial will be in Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville, NC.

Born June 2nd, 1939 in Union County, NC, Mr. Moore was the son of the late Curtis Lee and Emma Carpenter Moore and was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills Co. Survivors include one son: Curtis Everette Moore and wife, Rona, of Albemarle, NC; one daughter: Frankie Michelle Moore of Albemarle, NC; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
