Patsy Jean Fisher Johnson of 210 Lee Street, Richfield, went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2009.
 
Born January 19, 1955, she was the daughter of Mary Ann Fisher of Richfield and the late Walter Fisher. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband H. Jerry Johnson of the home, daughter Mary K. Manus of Richfield, son Kyle Manus and wife Ashley of Charleston, SC, stepson Kevin Johnson and wife Leigh Ann of New London, stepdaughter Angie Johnson of Albemarle, sister Judy Eddy and husband Dave of Richfield, brother Terry Fisher and wife Myra of Charlotte, 3 stepgrandchildren Logan, Luke, and Joelie, and a grandbaby who will be born in May 2010.
 
Patsy was a graduate of N.C. State University, where she received a degree in Animal Science. She was employed at Vulcan Materials of Gold Hill for more than 15 years. Mrs. Johnson was active to the end at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Richfield as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, choir member, council member, and leader of the hand bell choir. Patsy was a cofounder of The Richfield Reds, a red hat group she enjoyed. All her life she loved horses and was a member of the West Stanly saddle club. 
 
The family will gather at the home of Mary Ann Fisher, 304 N. Main St., Richfield. The funeral will be held at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Richfield, at 2 PM on Tuesday Oct. 6th, 2009. Burial will follow in the Richfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mt. Zion Fellowship Hall after the burial.
