Patrick Aaron Milton, age 30, of 114 Gordon Street, Norwood, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.  His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and his funeral will be at 1 PM on Monday, July 26th, 2010 at Faith Freewill Baptist Church in New London, NC.  Rev. Sam Wilson and Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. 

Born May 5th, 1980 in Stanly County, Mr. Milton was the son of Terry Wayne Milton and wife Kay of Morganton, NC and Toni Vanhoy Gathings and Gary Thompson of Mt. Gilead, NC and was a 1999 graduate of South Stanly High School.  He was an employee of GHA and of the Baptist Faith.  He was also a former police officer in Locust, NC and Candor, NC; a volunteer fireman; and former Youth Group Leader.  He loved his family.

Along with his parents and step-parents, he is survived by his wife, Amy Milton; one daughter, Alexis Mason; one half-brother, Robby Milton of Morganton, NC; one sister, Christal Elizabeth Milton of Norwood, NC; three aunts; two uncles; two nieces; and a number of cousins.
