Mildred Moyle West, age 84, of 20251 Union Grove Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord, NC.  Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and her funeral will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church.  Pastor Mike Burris will officiate and burial will be in Greene Memorial United Methodist's Church's Cemetery. 

Born June 4th, 1926 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. West was the daughter of the late James Moyle and Beulah Hatley Moyle and was educated at Albemarle High School.  She was a retired employee of Almo Drycleaners and Cloth Shop.  She was a member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Hubert Ray West, and one daughter, Shelia W. Misenheimer and husband Henry of Albemarle, NC.  She was preceded in death by four brothers: Grady Moyle, Lee Moyle, Max Moyle, and Coolidge Moyle; and two sisters: Lucille Lowder and Betty Barbee.
