Mildred Huneycutt Smith, age 81, of 22241 Maxton Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 24th, 2010 at her home.  Her graveside service will be at 4 PM on Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church's Cemetery.  Rev. Ronnie Russell will officiate. 

She was the daughter of the late Eric and Bessie Deese Huneycutt and was educated at Endy School.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Smith; one son, Randy Melvin Smith and wife Sheila of Locust, NC; one daughter, Wanda Smith Barbee and husband James of Oak Island, NC; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.  Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
