Mary Barnhardt Ingold, age 87, of 21094 Biles Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011 at her home.  Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and her funeral will be at 11 AM on Friday, June 24th, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Rev. Lee Church and Rev. Roger Moss will officiate and burial will be in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Born June 9th, 1924 in Stanly County, NC, Ms. Ingold was the daughter of the late George A. and Ada Boyd Barnhardt.  She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills Company and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.  She loved her grandchildren, quilting, her family, and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manassa L. Ingold.  She is survived by her daughter, Johnette Bowers and husband Danny of Albemarle, NC; grandchild, Shellie Bowers of Albemarle, NC; and two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Alex Bowers.
