Martha Fountain Cooper, 77, of 908 Mascot Drive, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 at her home.
Born September 17th, 1932 in Pulaski County, GA, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late Henry Schneider Fountain and Aurelia Jennings Fountain and was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women. She was a retired teacher and librarian. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and was married to the late Clinton Kezar Cooper, Jr. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Renee Cooper Lowder of Durham, NC and Miss Aurelia Gail Cooper of Albemarle, NC; one brother, William A. Fountain of Fayetteville, GA; and two grandchildren.
