Mr. Mark Anthony Green, age 28, of 1446 Hickory Avenue, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 at 36707 Old Salisbury Road, New London, NC.  His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and there will be no formal services.

Born August 29th, 1983 in Hicksville, Ohio, Mr. Green was the son of Elizabeth Green Burkett and Walter Earl Burkett of Albemarle, NC and was an employee of Harmanco's.  He is survived by one brother, Derek Burkett of Albemarle, NC; one sister, Brandi Aldridge and husband Alan of Raleigh, NC; and grandparents, Ann and Henry Propst of Albemarle, NC and Warren Green of Indiana.
