Marie H. Clodfelter, age 89, of 2410 Bryan Street, North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at her home.  Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM and her funeral will be at 12 PM on Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Rev. Joe Smith will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory. 

Born April 20th, 1922 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Love "Bud" Hudson and Minnie Lisk Hudson.  She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Clodfelter, and six brothers.  She is survived by three half-sisters: Edith White of Albemarle, NC, Brenda Tucker of Albemarle, NC, and Claudine McDonald of Holden Beach, NC; one half-brother, Bill Harrington of Albemarle, NC; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
