Mrs. Louise Lyall Ritchie, age 70, of Albemarle, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 at her home.  Her memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 at Stanly Funeral Home and her family will receive friends afterwards at the Funeral Home.  Rev. John Futterer will officiate and burial will be in Bethany United Methodist Church's Cemetery at a later date. 

Born May 25th, 1941 in Wilkes County, NC, Mrs. Ritchie was the daughter of the late Britt Wingler and Vecie Lyall Wingler.  She was a retired Communications Officer with the Albemarle Police Department and was also formerly associated with Moose Clothing Store and Service Distributing.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Albemarle, NC. 

She is survived by one son, Mark A. Lambert and wife Jill of Albemarle, NC; one sister, Elsie L. Medlin of Albemarle, NC; two grandchildren, Victoria Lambert and Alexandra Lambert; and a special friend, Martha Sue Hall Samples of Albemarle, NC.  She was preceded in death by one grandson, Landon Lambert.  The family would like to express their appreciation to Nancy Westwood and the Hospice Staff.
