Mrs. Lillian M. Morton, 94, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Friday, October 30th, 2009 at Jenner's Pond Retirement Community. Her funeral will be at 1 PM on Thursday, November 5th, 2009 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 AM - 12:45 PM prior to the hour of service. Burial will be in Anderson Grove Cemetery.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Morton was the daughter of the late George A. and Pauline Wentzel Winterling and was a cutter at the West Grove Knitting Mills in West Grove, PA for almost 20 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Assumption BVM Church in West Grove, PA, enjoyed NASCAR, playing the slot machines, bingo, and being with her family and friends and dog, Eve. She was a fishing enthusiast. She was married to the late William C. Morton, Sr. for 52 years. Survivors include two sons: William C. Morton, Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Joppa, MD and Andrew R. Morton and wife, Marie, of Reading, PA; four daughters: Monte Lee Morton of West Grove, PA, Alta Rae Sprenkle and her husband Ronald of Youngsville, NC, Daisy Mae Albanese of Germantown, MD, and Ramona E. May and husband Ronald of West Grove, PA; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
