Mrs. Lillian Chamberlain Morrison, age 98, of 625 Bethany Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 at Stanly Manor Nursing Center in Albemarle, NC.  Her graveside funeral will be at 2 PM on Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, NC and her family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the hour of the service at the cemetery.  Rev. Frank Gribble will officiate.

Born October 20th, 1913 in Iredell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Lon and Sallie Belle Christopher Chamberlain.  She was a retired employee of Jamestown Mills and a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Archdale, NC.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Brown, and her second husband, Hubert D. Morrison; one son, Larry N. Brown; and one grandson, Andy Brown.  She is survived by one step-son, Dale Morrison of Newton, NC; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Morton of Albemarle, NC; one stepdaughter, Peggy Klutz of Newton, NC; two brothers, Banks Chamberlain of Chatham, VA and J.D. Chamberlain of Mooresville, NC; one sister, Nadine Nixon of Concord, NC; two grandchildren, Lisa Kluttz and Tracey Cauble; and six great-grandchildren.
