Kevin Eugene Curlee, 48, of 8102 Red Lantern Road, Indian Trail, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital-Matthews. His family will receive friends at the Stanly Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM and his graveside service will be at 2 PM Friday, October 2nd, 2009 in the Union Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Albemarle, NC. Rev. David Howard will officiate.
Born December 31st, 1960 in StanlyCounty, Mr. Curlee was the son of Donald E. Curlee of Albemarle, NC and the late Barbara Lowder Curlee. He graduated from South Stanly High School and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters: Glenda Curlee Thomas and husband Jeff of Waxhaw, NC, and Donna Curlee Sidway and husband Martin of Charlotte, NC; one niece: Jennifer Ashley Thomas; and three nephews: Jeffrey Glen Thomas, Kevin Clay Sidway, and Curtis Martin Sidway.
