Kathy Honbarrier, age 47, of 32639 Austin Road, New London, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 14th, 2010 at her home.  Her funeral will be on Monday, August 16th, at 2:30 PM in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Father John Putnam will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.  Her family will greet family and friends at the cemetery following the graveside service. 

Born April 7th, 1963 in Hollis Queens, NY, she is survived by her parents: Bruce Allen and Dolores Ann Doyle  Van Vorst of Salisbury, NC; her husband, Tommy Alan Honbarrier; one son: Brandon Thad Teague and wife Jessica of Salisbury, NC; two daughters: Laura Anne Teague and husband Russell of Salisbury, NC and Amy Lynn Teague of Winston-Salem, NC; three brothers: Ethan Van Vorst of Spencer, NC, Matthew Van Vorst of Salisbury, NC, and Andrew Van Vorst of Salisbury, NC; one sister: Elizabeth Gaetano of Cleveland, NC; two nephews: Nathaniel Greene and Joshua Gaetano; two nieces: Kristen Rosado and Megan Ervin; and one grandchild: Katelynn Jean Teague.  One sister, Jeanne Greene, preceded her in death.
