Junior Thomas "J.T." Misenheimer, 78, of Miller Road in Richfield, NC passed away on Monday, April 20th, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the graveside service at New Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Richfield, NC. Rev. Ray Johnson will officate.
Born May 31st, 1930 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Thomas Clayborn and Helen Goodman Misenheimer. He was a retired employee of Fieldcrest Cannon and a member of New Bethel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty almond Misenheimer; one son, David Lee Misenheimer and wife Hazel of Richfield, NC; two daughters, Iris Misenheimer Carman and husband Stan of Wilkesboro, NC, and Alda Kay Misenheimer of Maryland; one sister, Betty Misenheimer Rogers of Richfield, NC; two grandchildren, Tony Lee Misenheimer and Melissa Misenheimer Harrington; and one great-grandchild, Caleb Gabriel Harrington. One sister, Bernice Misenheimer Monroe, preceded him in death.
