Judy Crowell Bowers, age 64, of 313 B Love Street, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Sunday, August 8th, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.  Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM and her funeral will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel.  Rev. Mitchell Cook and Rev. Jerry Baker will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park.

Born August 9th, 1945 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Bowers was the daughter of the late Arthur Crowell and Alice Talbert Crowell and was a homemaker.  She attended Full Gospel Mission Church.

Mrs. Bowers is survived by her husband, Grady Lee Bowers, Sr; four daughters: Terri Miller of New Orleans, LA, Deborah Lynn Ward of New Orleans, LA, Melinda Kaye Medlin of Norwood, NC, and Belinda Bowers Forrest of Denton, NC; two stepsons: Grady Lee Bowers, Jr. and Stephen Eric Bowers of Albemarle, NC; twenty-two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  One son, Terry Harker, preceeded her in death.
