Joyce Kimmer Faircloth, age 66, of 707 Laurel Street, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, October 1st, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC. Her memorial service will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joe Smith will officiate.

Born January 27th, 1944 in Lancaster County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Nellie Kimmer and was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills Co. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Ray Kimmer of Granite Falls, SC and a number of neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Jaybird Kimmer, Jack Kimmer, Buddy Kimmer, and Adam Kimmer; and four sisters: Mary Brown Wright, Laura Hill, Annie Catoe, and Louise K. Thompson.
