John Paul Lowder, age 31, of 740 Efird Street in Albemarle, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  His funeral will be at 3 PM on Sunday, June 13th, 2010 at Norwood Church of the Nazarene.  Rev. Carroll Moffitt, Rev. Kenneth Myers, and Rev. Jimmy Davis will officiate.

Born November 3rd, 1978 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Lowder was the son of Franklin Jasper Lowder of Norwood and Mary Josephine Kendall of Albemarle, NC.  He was a member of Norwood Church of the Nazarene and an Auto Body Repairman.  Along with his mother and father, he is also survived by his step-mother, Rose T. Lowder of Norwood, NC; two brothers: Franklin Linson Lowder of Albemarle, NC and David Joseph Lowder of Ablemarle, NC; a sister, Mary Diane Currie of Albemarle, NC; his maternal grandmother, Jane Kendall Starnes of Norwood, NC; his Maternal Great-Grandmother, Louise Kimrey Lee of Albemarle, NC; and his fiancee, Kimberly Marshall of Pinehurst, NC.
