Jennie Ree Brown Love, 78, of 25759 Dunlap Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, November 2nd, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC. Her funeral will be at 11 AM on Thursday, November 5th, 2009 at Rehobeth Methodist Church. Rev. Adam Hatley will officiate and burial will be in Rehobeth Methodist Church Cemetery.
Born November 22nd, 1930 in Stanly County, NC, Mrs. Love was the daughter of the late Benjamin Lewis and Lexie Smith Brown. She was a retired employee of American & Efird Mills and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed gardening and loved pets. She was married to the late Alton Douglas Love. She is survived by one daughter, Lou Ellen Love Whitley and husband, Gary, of Albemarle; three sisters: Pauline Caudle of Albemarle, Carrie Lee of Gastonia, NC, and Lectie Shankle of Norwood, NC; one grandchild, Steven Doublas Tucker and wife, Michelle; and two great-grandchildren: William Richard Tucker and Andrew Douglas Tucker.
