Jeffrey Lloyd Burleson, 55, of 29123 Rutherford Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Friday, June 5th, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center-Main in Charlotte, NC. His family will receive friends on Monday, June 8th, 2009 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Stanly Funeral Home. His funeral will be on Tuesday, June 9th, at 2 PM in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Rev. Mark Mabry and Rev. Frank Thompson will officiate and burial will be in Canton Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born May 18, 1954 in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of Mildred Price Burleson and the late James McDonald Burleson. He was a graduate of West Stanly High School and Stanly Community College where he received his Associate of Arts Degree in Commercial Art. He was a member of Canton Baptist Church in Albemarle, NC.
He is survived by one brother, James David Burleson of Albemarle, NC; two sisters, Connie Payne and husband Donald of Rockwell, NC and Malia B. Lowder and husband Alfred of Albemarle; two aunts and a number of neices and nephews. One twin sister, Ginger B. Huneycutt, preceded him in death.
