Mr. James M. Redwine, Sr., age 96, of 303 Ridge Street, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.  His graveside funeral will take place at Fairview Memorial Park at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 and his family will receive friends from 12:45 PM until 1:45 PM at Stanly Funeral Home.  Rev. Mark Weekley will officiate. 

Born January 18th, 1915 in Stanly County, NC, Mr. Redwine was the son of the late James Earnest and Carrie Ann Cress Redwine and was educated in the Albemarle Schools.  He was a retired manager from Arrowood Manufacturing, formerly known as Young Manufacturing, and also worked as a maintenance supervisor with Stanly Memorial Hospital.  He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Efird Redwine.  He is survived by three sons: James M. Redwine, Jr. and wife Mickie of Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Lee Redwine and wife Judy of Albemarle, NC, and Jeffrey Lynn Redwine and wife Belinda of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
