Inez Stamper Cauble, age 86, of 22454 Quail Ridge Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.   Her family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and her funeral will be on Thursday at 2 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church.  Rev. Lee Church will officiate and burial will be in Simpson Cemetery.

Born December 16, 1923 in Anson County, NC, Mrs. Cauble was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Rena McIntyre Stamper and was a homemaker.  She attended Union Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Porter United Methodist Church. 

She was married to the late Joe Thompson Cauble.  She is survived by one son, Jeff Cauble and wife Wendy of Albemarle,NC; three brothers: Elmer Franklin Stamper of Albemarle, Homer Eugene Stamper of Greensboro, and Robert Stamper of Huntsville, Alabama; two sisters: Sadie Blake and Madie Hamby of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren: Brian Cauble, Karen Cauble and Michael Cauble; and one great-grandchild: Destiny Sasser.  She is preceded in death by one son, Barry Delane Cauble, and one brother, John Stamper.
