Henry Franklin Russell, age 95, of 1230 Hollywood Terrace, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC. His family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM and his funeral will be at 2 PM on Monday, October 4th, 2010 in Stanly Funeral Home's Chapel. Rev. Farrell Shimpock and Rev. Mark Forrest will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory with Full Military Rites by the Stanly County DAV Ritual Team.
Born in Stanly County, NC on June 10th, 1915, Mr. Russell was the son of the late Ida Lee Russell Ingram Parker and was a retired employee of ALCOA as a Crane Operator. He was a member of Norwood First Baptist Church and a Veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII and a member of the Stanly County DAV.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Corelia Huneycutt Russell, and two brothers, Everette Ingram and Curtis Ingram. He is survived by one brother, Clay Ingram of Albemarle.
