Gregory Boyce Talbert, 49, of 21027 Huneycutt Mill Road, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.  His family will receive friends at Porter United Methodist Church in Norwood, NC from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM just prior to the Memorial Service at 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 21st, 2009.  Rev. Warren Miller will officiate.

Born on February 6th, 1961 in Stanly County, he was the son of the late Boyce Price and Elizabeth Byrd Talbert.  He was a 1979 graduate of East Rowan High School and was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Albemarle, NC.  He is survived by two daughters, Tesia Talbert of Wadeville, NC and Kaileigh Talbert of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and two sisters, Susan Talbert Lowder of Oakboro, NC and Amy Talbert Flynn of Somerset, KY.
