Frances Yvonne Strickland, age 63, of 30471 A Cane Drive, Albemarle, NC passed away on Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 at her home.  Her funeral will be at 11 AM on Monday, June 14th, 2010 in Stanly Memorial Chapel in Albemarle, NC and her family will receive friends from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the hour of the service.  Rev. Tab Whitley will officiate and burial will be in Stanly Gardens of Memory.

Born March 23rd, 1947 in Cabarrus County, NC she is the daughter of  Mary Frances Overcash Dyson of Albemarle, NC and the late Rev. Asa Ray Dyson.  She was a retired General Manager of Hardee's Restaurant and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, William Harold Strickland; two daughters: Teresa Smith and husband Glenn of Albemarle, NC and Lisa Hathcock and husband Tony of Oakboro, NC; two sisters: Martha Whitley of Albemarle, NC and Barbara Burroughs of Albemarle, NC; and five grandchildren.
