Frances Bailey Doby, age 87, of 620 Heathwood Drive, Albemarle, NC, passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2011 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center in Albemarle, NC.  Her graveside service will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 at the Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in New London, NC.  At other times the family will be at the home of Mrs. David (Janice) Smith - 633 East Cannon Avenue, Albemarle, NC.  Rev. Sam Wilson will officiate.

Born September 9th, 1923 in Union County, NC, Ms. Doby was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Mary Forte Bailey.  She was a homemaker and member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Edward Doby, Sr.  She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
